Originally, tha ham channel was a base camp for the world's leading ham production companies to meet and discuss their world domination on tha ham market. Unfortunately only 1 of tha top 5 leading companies could afford to include internet connection fees in their expense accounts. The channel was abandoned and was given to the responsibility of a trustworthy caretaker.

The caretaker then transformed tha channel into a meeting place for all members of tha ham community (workers, associated families, fans etc.). Before long, the channel had a set of regular users and so a heir achy of power had to be established in association with Dalnet Opping. And so came the existence of AOPs, SOPs and the Founder.

Since the early establishment days of tha ham chan, tha channel has hosted a wide array of big name celebrities such as "Lamb Chops", "Skippy", "Humphrey B Bear", "Lassie", "Winnie tha Pooh" and the goat from neighbours.

Tha channel is currently open to all members of the IRC community, barr losers, wankers, flooders and YOU!      ...no wait...   You're aloud in :o).
